As an executive search company, THE MOTION PARTNER works on behalf of the client and recruits this role exclusively. 

THE COMPANY

ANAPAYA was founded in 2017 and is a spinoff of the prestigious Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). With currently 25 employees from more than 10 different nations this startup is building a next-generation global network through which they are delivering secure, performant, and trusted WAN communication to public and private organizations. Large companies, like the Swiss National Bank, Six and other players in the finance, telecom, and healthcare sector as well as the government are relying on the technology provided by ANAPAYA. The goal is to expand internationally, selling and deploying the solutions globally. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate Marketer who can help to define and execute the right marketing and communication strategy as a member of the executive management team. Reporting to the CEO this position plays a significant role in shaping the future success of ANAPAYA.

THE TASKS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Full responsibility of the marketing and communication plan to position the brand within the industry and enhance brand equity (local and international)

  • Define and execute the brand and product marketing strategy to generate high quality leads 

  • Partner with other departments to coordinate the marketing activities across the company - product management, sales, business development and operations

  • Optimize existing channels (owned and paid) and evaluate new opportunities with a focus on digital and data driven marketing

  • Manage an internal graphic designer, various external agencies and work closely with our reseller to launch co-branded campaigns

  • Ensure that ANAPAYA has the right tools, methodologies and structures to succeed

  • Establish a measurement mechanism to monitor the performance (KPI dashboard) of each initiative

  • Analyze and report success in terms of key performance indicators

 

THE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • University degree in Marketing, Communication or Economics

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in B2B Marketing, international experience is a plus

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets together with the sales/product department

  • Deep knowledge in digital marketing strategy including CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and analytics tools (e.g. tableau)

  • Good understanding of the software market and/or “as a service” in an indirect go-to-market model (through partners and resellers) - telecom background is a big plus

  • Experienced in managing different agencies and other service providers

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions

  • You describe yourself as initiative, energetic and hands-on with and an unwavering commitment to achieve goals and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Used to work in a dynamic environment and able to adapt quickly to new circumstances - Proven track record in start-up or scale-up would be a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English is mandatory, any other language is a plus
