THE COMPANY

Our client is a renowned commercial law firm. In this newly created role, you will report to the management and collaborate closely with the Legal Tech team and attorneys of the firm. The objective is to merge traditional legal practices with the latest technological advancements. Our client is not just participating in the industry's digital evolution, it's setting the pace, aiming to redefine industry standards through pioneering efforts. 

 

TASKS & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Be involved in leading the firm's AI strategy in collaboration with management and serve as the internal hub of expertise in AI usage and best practices. 

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness, as well as developing new AI-based solutions (products/services/business cases) for client-facing and internal applications. 

• Collaborate closely with legal and support professionals to drive AI integration and build agentic workflows across practices and departments. 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and data through trend scouting and competitor observation, evaluating and implementing cutting-edge techniques. 

• Partner with technical teams, both internal and external.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

​

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, computational linguistics, or a related field

• Proficiency in English

• 2-5 years of experience in data science, data engineering or machine learning; experience in the application of AI in law is a plus but not necessary

• Strong programming skills using Python 

• Knowledge of natural language processing, large language models, deep learning frameworks, vector databases and knowledge graphs

• Experience in building products or services using large language models (open-source or commercial APIs) and other AI models; experience with using cloud platforms (Azure) is advantageous

• Experience in structuring and retrieving data in large databases and building data pipelines

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions, and a keen interest in new trends and technologies in the field of AI

• Effective communication skills to communicate complex results to non-technical audiences

• You are highly motivated and ambitious, with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, a collaborative team player, and a quick learner
